Welcome to the Artemis Fowl II RPG! Here we go into the life of the great Irish teen with some magical friends, demon, pixie, and *cough* Jon Spiro *cough* enemies! We have all the common rules of an RPG here!

1. No bullying other players on purpose, OOC or IC. (Unless obviously sarcastic)
2. No "n00b" talk. "aRtEMis \/\/aLkeb inn & eatEd a11 dee .f00D.." for example...
3. Try to talk only in IC (In Character) or OOC (Out Of Character); also use at appropriate times. IC when RPGing, OOC when chatting.
4. Three Strike rule: One "wrongity" = Temporary strandation. Another "wrongity"= 25 hour ban. Third "wrongity" = a week ban. If you get a 4 ^th "wrongity" and you will be banned till the end of the month, or possibly the end of the RPG.
5. Remember to have fun, and not to abuse the NPCs (Non- Player Characters) "Artemis burped, and fell off a cliff".
6. And Trucky, I know you'll try this: No subdimensions.

Name: Artemis Fowl II

Species: Human/ mixed with 10% magic.
Ethnicity: Irish
Bio: Artemis Fowl II, a child prodigy and a ruthless master criminal, takes charge of rebuilding his family fortune following the disappearance of his father. In Artemis Fowl, the first book in the series, he kidnaps Captain Holly Short, a member of the reconnaissance unit of the fairy police force, LEPrecon. His object is the gold which the fairy government has set aside to ransom captured officers. In spite of this introduction, Artemis later works with Holly to save their worlds from impending doom on several occasions, and little by little, his moral character and emotional disposition improve. On more than one occasion, his smile has been said to be like a vampire's. Despite his absent-minded personality, he is shown to be quite lonely on occasions. He does, however, display romantic inclinations towards, Minerva Paradizo from Artemis Fowl and the Lost Colony, and Holly in The Time Paradox (book six), when they both become adolescent again. His motto is aurum potestas est meaning Gold is Power.

Name: Domovoi Butler
Age: 55
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Ethnicity: Eurasian
Bio: Domovoi Butler is Artemis's butler and bodyguard. He most often referred to as "Butler". The Butler family has served the Fowl family for generations, with a Butler being assigned to a new Fowl at birth. He has a comprehensive knowledge of weapons and extensive training in martial arts, enough so as to be able to survive an encounter with a troll. The second book, The Arctic Incident, asserts that there were only two men on the planet better educated in the various martial arts than Butler, and he was related to one of them. The third book, The Eternity Code, Butler was accidentally turned 15 years older in a healing process. Butler is more than what he seems and follows Artemis around the world on his adventures. He is also one of Artemis' few good friends. Domovoi means, literally, "he of the house". Domovoi is a house spirit in Slavic folklore.
Other: His chest is bullet proof, as of the first encounter with Jon Spiro.

Name: Captain Holly Short
Age: Early 1000's
Species: Fairy; elf
Ethnicity: Fairy
Bio: Captain Holly Short, the only female LEPrecon (Lower Elements Police Reconnaissance) officer so far, is more skilled and has more field experience than most of her fellow officers. Her talents are often under-appreciated because of her gender. Holly looks up to Julius Root, her LEP commander and something of a father figure, who has high expectations of her. Holly, who has an unwavering moral code, typically operates on intuition, rather than on protocol, a trait that often leads her into trouble. Artemis captures her in the first book, and her tenacity and creative intellect help her to escape not only her cell, but Fowl Manor as well. Throughout the series Holly and Artemis understand each other on a very personal level, and consequently recognize each other as friends.

These are the three main NPCs, however Commander Vinya, Trouble, Minerva, Opal, and the infamous Brill Brothers, etc. are still playable. Now, for locations….

Locations!

-Tara: A magical place for Fairies to refuel on magic! Closest to E1.
-Atlantis: A sparkling, watery Utopia. Also, the sister city of ….
-Haven: The main fairy city, home of the LEP and several famous Pixies…
-Fowl Manor: Artemis’s alma Mater, his home. A certain Butler can be found patrolling the halls almost every hour.
- The currently known world: Our great planet Earth, and everywhere on it!
- Castle Kroenen: A manor to rival Fowl’s, this is owned by Corey’s father, [CLASSIFIED]

IC:

Corey typed at his computer. He was busy hacking a site called Bionicle Zap Power, in a small amount of time. This was to show every hacker in the business who's boss. It was a petty crime, but the idea of power made Corey happy. Quitely, he logged off his computer, and turned off all the lights in the room. Actually, that's what he would've done, had not an e-mail popped up on the screen.
There were only two words in the e-mail;

Good Luck.

And those words left Corey to download the file sent with the e-mail.

Artemis Fowl smiled and signed off his e-mail account. The message was sent.
Now the only thing the Irish genius had to do it wait.

Wait for a new compainion, a new apprentice.

Corey W. Kroenen.

IC:

Artemis Fowl had just made the mistake of his life. He sent, via email, all Silver Skull had needed to begin plotting its revenge.

Develpoed by Koboi Laberatories, Silver Skull had been shut down by the LEP years ago. Foaly himself had seen to the deletion of every single last file. Exept one.

Exept a file that would only activate itself on one condition. If Opal Koibi flipped the switch.

Silver Skull hacked into the LEP database and selected Opal Kobio's cell. Emergancy knock-out gas pellets were stored inside each light, and a large dosenge would make Julius Root fall asleep - or it would, had the commander not been dead.



Opal Koboi noted that the guards had been doubled. "There worried about me!" she chuckled. As if her past self would break her out. She would know if she could.

Suddenly, gas filled the room. "Knock-out gas..." Opal realized. Why?

The gas continued to poor into the specially ferneshed cell. The pressure was making Opal's ears ring.
"Ouch..." the child genius sputtered, falling into unconscienceness. The pressure continued to increase, causing Miss Koboi brain to implode. Even in her sleep, she was having a terrible migrane. Blood splattered, and the pixie didn't feel a thing.



Computers don't feel. They think.

The Kobio Silver Skull had killed was flawed. Imperfect. A human gland implanted in her brain had made her a terror to pixies. Her genius made her a terror to Mud Men. She was an outcast.

A pure-blood Opal Koboi still remained, but she would be kept in the dark.

Silver Skull was done taking orders.

IC:

Corey finished burning the recently printed out pieces of paper he read.
They contained information on all of Artemis's adventures, as well as bios on all characters in them.
Quite a read.

Master Kroenen simply walked out of the room, closing the door behind him.
Turning around several corners, and through a tricky maze of corridors, he found himself at the elevator.
He went inside and pressed the level 3 button. the elevator hummed, and went up two levels before opening once more.

Corey stepped aside as his mother walked into the elevator. With a quick nod to her, he set off on the top floor. The corridors here were less of a maze, so he arrived at his destination quickly.

The Kroenen Study.

Corey glided in, and began his work.

OOC: Very well. Clever, though. Extremely clever.
IC:

"Sir?" a gruff yet soothing voice asked a mysterious figure in a dark room.

"I know. We're being watched."

Artemis Fowl the Second turned away from the video screen showing a tent. Very hard to hind, but a tent nevertheless.

"What should we do, Artemis?" asked Butler, for it was he who spoke now, and before.

"We wait," said Artemis, his teeth gleaming. "For two weeks, I say."

Young master Kroenen was up till midnight. It was hard finding every piece of fairy related information on the internet, but Corey had somehow done it.

He looked at page to page, and finally put it down.

It was now time to find out about this Artemis Fowl.

IC: Opal Koboi blinked and sat up. Several LEP guards lay around her, dead.
"Of course!" she exclaimed, giddy with excitement.
She picked up a walkie-talkie from one of the guards. Walkie-talkies. Please. "Very clever. It kills the guard's fragile heads but not mine, becaue I'm human,"
A metelic voice pinged on the other side. "Thank you, Mistress," The message was layered with poison.

OOC: Remember Spec, IC.

IC:

"Absolutely fascinating."

I know, father. I find it hard to believe, but-" began the Young Kroenen.

"Mmmhmm. Yes, sure. Hmm? What, no!" cut off Corey's Father.

"... Father? Are you paying attention?" Asked Corey warily.

"Yes son, I think the stock is going up." Replied Mr. Kroenen.

Corey sighed, and went back into his room, deciding not to tell his mother about the fairies and Artemis.

:Cryo:

]

OOC: Niiiiiiice. Acidic glue stuff.
IC:

Artemis fumed. These two mercanaries got through the front doors.

Which were now Troll-proof.

Butler had a Fairy blaster in hand, and was ready to use it.
They waited as the storm rolled in, and lighting crashed outside.

IC:

Artemis stepped down the main staircase.

His eyes gleamed with reflective sunglasses, but he saw the two humans and took them off.

"What do you want?"

IC:

The Scientist shrugged, waving the gun around.

Corey sighed.

"Don't make me ask again." he said impatiently.

Pearson laughed, and waved the gun back at Kroenen.

"My boy, you won't have to." he said in his hoarse voice.

Kroenen slowly took out his tonfa...

IC:

Artemis stood firmly.

"Who sent you? I thought I made amends with all my enemies?"

The Irish boy walked down the stair case, and was now in front of the Not so Dynamic Duo.

Butler was about to follow, Blaster in hands, but Artemis stopped him with a wave of his hand.

"And why would you be asking about something that happened in the last month on my screens?"

"Pearson, you tread on dangerous waters. None too smooth."

The Scientist still said nothing, but flicked a switch on his control panel.

The floor whirred back, creating a gap between Pearson and Corey.

"My boy, let me see you try to kill me now with your silly blade."

The man next to Pearson laughed.

"We shall see. We shall see."

IC:

Artemis sighed.

"Yes, it was there. The screens flickered briefly, then shut down for 10 seconds."

Artemis paused, and looked at both Sparso and MacGolem.
They reminded him of an American couple he had seen on a tour.
A tear almost came into being on Artemis's cheek, but he controlled himself.

Sometimes, Arty wished he had a normal life.

OOC: Your whole post is out of character? O~O

IC:

Artemis shrugged.
He then turned and looked at his Manservant.

Butler also shrugged, and opened his mouth to speak.

"They both shut down at the same time, I think."

It was at that moment when the lights flickered out.

IC:

Artemis walked next to Butler on impulse.
He was very nervous now.

"What's happening?" asked the boy.

Sparso and MacGolem didn't answer.

"WHAT. IS. HAPPENING?!??!??!"

]

IC:

Butler promptly walked up to MacGolem and put the blaster to her head.
He flicked off the safety.

"Do you know what this is? I'd be suprised if you did."

Butler and Artemis looked at each other briefly.

"This is a blaster. No sci-fi, it's real. And it'll burn through your head unless you tell us what is going on."

OOC: ... Bu-... But that was his new blaster... he got it for X-Mas...
IC:

Butler stared for a second, then shook his head slowly.

"What, is she your girlfriend? Also, you never told us who you are."

OOC: O~o

IC:

Artemis studied them closer.

"Now what, may I ask, caused you to destroy a piece of valuable equipment?"

He paused.

"And where did you say you were from?"

IC:

Artemis sighed.

"Well, at any rate you seem to be human."

He turned to go upstairs.

"Well, if you are quite down messing with my power, can you leave?"

Butler glared at them.

"Why DID you turn the lights on and off?" he asked, quite confused.

]

IC:

Artemis sighed.

"Ah, robots. So dramatic. Who might you be?"

]

OOC: ... Like a robot with a drill can fit in on any planet...
IC:

Artemis sighed. Why did robots have to speak so weirdly?

"Amn't? What language do YOU speak?" asked Butler.

Artemis nodded in agreement.

Pearson flicked another switch on his control panel, and spikes shot out on the sides of the pit. The Doctor was taking no chances.

The man next to him in the gray ninja suit chuckled.

"You will not escape. You cannot escape. You are mine now."

OOC: Such as...?
IC:

Artemis blinked as well, although not in surprise.
Butler looked over to Artemis.

"I may have heard of it." he said.

Artemis paused for effect.

"And I just sent a copy of it to a Master Kroenen."

]

OOC: Damn 'Hoppers.
IC:

Artemis smiled.

"Oh sure, of course. I'll give you a disk full of highly classified info."

Butler snorted. Everyone in the room detected Artemis's highly sarcastic tone.

Takeshi Ottoba was a very careful man.

He didn't want to die.

But, today he was about to.
Being the head scientist working for Pearson was a hard job.
Was.
Today, he was about to die at the hands of Victor Murlock.
And Victor Murlock was careful AND dangerous.

IC:

Artemis grunted in pain.
He was blinded, numb, and pinned to a wall.
But he still had his wits.
Before Tunneler left the room, Artemis commented...

"Goodbye, robot. Don't be falling in love with my toaster, though."

]

IC:

Artemis nodded, though none could see.

"I do. Wait. It has already left, why should we hurry?"

He thought for a moment.

"Unless the robot left us a bomb. Then I suggest..."

The teen thought for another second or two.
Then he turned in the general direction of Butler.

"Dom, would you mind dropping your gun to the floor?"

Butler did as said, although it was hard.

BANG!

Artemis fell to the floor. He grinned, and his sight started to return.

"Now, let me free you all." He grinned again, wider.

Slowly, he aimed the gun.

Kroenen carefully aimed his tonfa.

"Goodbye, Pearson."

The boy fired a shot.

Impossible as it was, the tip slid open, and a bullet popped out.

Pearson gasped, then gasped again. The second time, blood spilled out of his mouth, and he fell forwards into the pit.

The man next to Pearson watched as it happened.
Then he disappeared.

IC:

Artemis sighed, and backed away.
He would leave MacGolem and Sparso to their business.

Corey smiled at the sight of the body in the pit.

"Well, that's one less competitor." he murmured.

Looking at the body one more time, Kroenen walked around the pit.
He stopped at the control panel, flicked some switches, and heard the pit close.

Time to find Pearson's boss.

IC:

Corey examined the lab.

It was quite filled with beakers and computers, most showing DNA strands.
Presumably for the "food business". He quickly shut down all but one, and entered in the password "pEArsOn". A blue screen popped up, with several pages of text on it. He printed it, deleted the file, and shut down the computer.

IC:

Corey walked slowly out of the factory, ignoring the guards going in.

An alarm was wailing from inside, and it was starting to get annoying, so Corey quickened his pace.
He had set off the alarm, and it was doing quite as he intended. Confusion. Everyone was running to stations and offices, wondering what caused it.

Corey turned back, grinned at the window that belonged to the CEO, then aimed his tonfa.
He threw it.

Bullseye.

]

IC:

Murlock ducked.

A tonfa crashed through his window.
He quickly looked where it had impaled itself in his wall, then cursed.
His office's north wall was ruined. But normally he wouldn't care.

Normally.

But with Pearson dead, sales would go down.

And Murlock would get his revenge.
