On April 10th a plane crash killed President Lech Kaczynski, central bank Governor Slawomir Skrzypek and the top four generals in Poland’s armed forces were killed in the incident. The crash happened near Smolensk, the western part of Russia, and the incident is still being investigated. It is a sad time for Poland.
